He is a member of Istanbul Bar Association. Omer Faruk Hansu is graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law and is the founder and manager of Hansu Law Office.

He has provided legal counseling service in design, financing and implementing phases and the subsequent phases of many large-scale projects involving both national and international entrepreneurs in the fields of commercial and corporate law, merger and acquisition law, real estate law, energy and natural resources law and industrial property law and has also provided legal counseling service especially in establishing and conducting the legal infrastructure of structures in multilateral and large-scale projects such as joint venture, consortium, company exclusive to the project.

He has provided legal counseling and attorneyship service for both public authorities and project developer private entrepreneurs in the fields of real estate and zoning law including project-focused development [sales/renting etc.] of public [public property/municipally owned land] and foundation lands  during the tender, development, construction and operation phases and has also provided and is continuing to provide consultancy service on the matters of establishing the legal basis of shopping malls, hotels, hospitals and other large-scale and multi-purpose real estate investments, establishment of usufruct / constitution of servitude and establishment of all other supreme rights and their legal practice, developing management plans, drawing up flat for land basis and revenue sharing construction contracts and developing urban transformation projects.

He has been specialized in in the fields of development plans and modifications, cancellation of parceling procedures, expropriation and adequate price lawsuits, unlicensed construction and demolition lawsuits, disputes arising from antiquities and protected areas and actions of nullity of development plan implementations. He has been specialized in energy Law, natural resources [water and geothermal resource] law, petroleum law and mining law and has represented his clients regarding license applications made to regulatory and supervisory authorities such as EPDK (Energy Market Regulatory Authority), General Directorate of Mining Affairs and MTA (General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration) and procedures about the nullity of administrative sanctions. He has also provided legal services for his clients carrying out international activities including preparing due diligence report in privatization tenders in the field of energy.

He has provided legal counseling services for both private entrepreneurs and state institutions and organizations during the foundation phase of regions and structures which are subject to the fields of Organized Industrial Zones Law, Expropriation Law, Harbors Act, Industrial Law and Environmental Law. He has provided legal counselling service regarding the procedures including application, permission, building permit etc. and follow-up and realization of these procedures during all the phases starting from the foundation of many organized industrial zones and technology zones through commissioning in our country. In addition, he has provided attorneyship service for both public administrations and defendant natural persons regarding expropriation law during the first foundation phase of organized industrial zones and technology zones.

Since the foundation of Hansu Law Office, he has provided consultancy and attorneyship service in the specific fields of law including tax law and foreign trade and customs law such as tax inspection for his national and international clients, conducting tax cases and resolution of complicated legal problems which arises during export-import procedures.
